Making sure to have dinner earlier has helped me a lot. At one point, we would be eating at 7:30 or later, and hopping in bed at like 11 or so, which meant I could never wake up easily at 6:30ish. Also, after I quit drinking coffee, I was able to fall asleep and wake up much easier. Just my two personal thoughts though!
