Autobiographical statements

I was born in Costa Rica, an amazing country in Central America. Since I was a child I have known that I want to do something more with my life, I never have wanted to be a regular person, I always enjoy learning about any topic and obviously studying. I used to spend my free time with my grandpa (my biggest inspiration) he always pushed me to go far and understand that I have the knowledge and determination to do great actions.

I started studying graphic design in high school and I decided to study business administration in college, I´m going to graduate this Friday from Universidad de Costa Rica. At the beginning of this year, I applied to a Marketing and Sales Specialization, and after 8 months of effort I going to receive my degree. Next year I´m going to study Digital Marketing, because I have the opportunity to increase my knowledge and receive a certification from Ireland so, I know that I have to put all my energy in my goals and I hope to have time for both college.

I decided to study business administration because I saw the opportunity to achieve all my goals and help people to achieve theirs. I´m a very organize person, focused in goals and self-motivated I always thinks that anyone have the potential to be happy and understand their roll in this world, I hope that someday I will build companies when any employee is living their dream job.

Currently, I´m working at La Tres, a publicity agency, It´s a great place to work, because it´s possible to share ideas, knowledge and learn from college with experience in creativity fields. I really enjoy to work here and get work experience, it´s like someone pay me to learn and applicate my knowledge.

Through years, I have had a lot of mentors that motive me, in different areas, for example my school teacher Vilma, she taught me how to deal with any kind of people, about self-knowledge and control myself in difficult situation. My teacher in high school, Wendy helped me to believe in myself. In design, confidence is almost everything! She pushed me to always give 110% and finally, different teachers in high school, have taught me more that academics aspects.

If I have to say why I deserve this scholarship and why I´m better than others? I would say that I have the ability to learn from everything and everyone, from mistakes, good experiences, bad experiences, peaceful places and stressful companies, I understand that is possible to achieve any goal if you have the skill to learn from anything!

In unit 5, I learned how to emphasize using some words like own, do, actually and some phases like at all, by no means. I increased my business vocabulary, now I know how to describe business profile and job skills.

Now, I know different philanthropists and how they impact in society. I learned how important is to include philanthropist programs in companies.
