How do I feel every morning before coffee?

I feel like, I need you to stop.

I need you to not talk.

I need you to not bother me.

It is not personal. It has nothing to do with you.

Please don’t talk. Please don’t ask questions. Please don’t expect coherence.

I need coffee.

For this hour, coffee should be expected.

There’s nothing worse than the banal chirpiness of another human being when you are in a state of deep, heavy, existential reflection.
