Hey Lee, while I agree that a distinction between owner and manager isn’t always needed, in some companies these are actually somewhat different roles. For example, product managers could have more of an outbound role, like marketing, creating requirement documents and long term roadmap handling, while owners are owning the backlog, handling agile activities and sitting close to the development teams.
