The Return of Ferhadija

One of the oldest mosque in Bosnia is currently being rebuilt

Ferhat Pasha Mosque also known as Ferhadija Mosque is not far away from official openning, planned to be held by the end of this year. With the donation of Turkish Development Agency ( TIKA ), this gorgeous classical Ottoman architectural building from 16th century is temporally under final reconstruction. The mosque was demolished in 1993 during Yugoslav Wars.
