New: Keep your feedback in order by merging similar suggestions

The next step in our suggestion anti-duplication campaign is here: you can now merge any two suggestions on your Feature Upvote suggestion board.

With some clever usability techniques, some backend duplication detection, and our “Is your suggestion already posted?” feature, we had already reduced duplicate suggestions to a trickle. But they still sometimes happen and we didn’t want that.

Hence we developed a way for you to merge any two suggestions. You can start the merge process directly while viewing a suggestion you consider a duplicate, or using our moderation tools.

We aim to make Feature Upvote a pleasure for you and your customers to use. This guided our design of the Merge feature. When you do get a duplicate you’ll be able to find and merge it into an existing suggestion in a couple of easy steps. We hope you find it simple to use.

Like all of Feature Upvote’s moderation features, you can use the merge functionality easily from mobile, tablets, and desktop computers.

If you are already a Feature Upvote customer, thank you! If you aren’t, and you want to let your customers openly suggest and upvote improvements to your product, sign up for a free fully-functioning trial of Feature Upvote.
