Since he’s so observant, you might ask him why he thinks this happens to you in meetings and if he has suggestions for the future (or can listen in to more meetings in the future).

Also wondering if he senses the server dynamic, where service folks are taught to listen (especially when taking orders like yours!) and be deferential to some extent; which of course raises the reverse point of why none of your peers are deferential to you.

At the same time, in many cultures, e.g. New York or Italy, interrupting and lots of alpha-male/females interrupt and drive forward all the time, regardless of the other parties (have to admit I’m guilty of this), i.e. not really a respect thing (to some extent).

Glad he’s asking these questions and paying attention, lots of factors and hard to tell if over/under-thinking it. But super glad you leading by example and teaching him to avoid stereotypes as best he can.
