So, what about applying a factory reset on your phone (let’s say android-based) before you approach the border? With no applications on your phone — including your google account — all you have is your cell provider apps.

Once you pass the border, you could re-invoke and re-install that applications as part of the ‘Google’ experience by re-establishing your Google ‘persona’ (anyone who has upgraded their phone has experienced this process of all apps being re-installed)

What would be the risk in that approach?
