Fuck You Startup World

Yes. A similar phenomenon is recent years is that everybody’s an “artist.” While that is cosmically true, at least potentially, SO many people make mediocre shlock and try to pawn it off on the witless. As always, a very small percentage is worthwhile, and the rest is expressive masturbation. It’s everyone’s right to do it, but most of these people need real jobs. So fuck that too, and spare me the wasted energy of having to see it and reject it from my already overloaded brain.

What both of these trends represent, and what everything — and I really do mean everything — else happening these days indicates, is that the vast majority of wealth is held by a small percentage of the population, and the rest of us, even the relatively rich hangers on like the tech start up crowd, are scrambling for the few scraps left, and must come up with increasingly desperate ways of doing it, all the while rationalizing our mutual insanity with the 24/7/365 brainwashing of corporate capitalism.

We don’t do anything about that, nothing else will change, and will in fact keep getting stranger.
