Idaho enjoys its non-diverse, white-bred culture of no innovation. In 100 years it gave us groceries (Albertsons), Potatoes (Simplot and Ore-Ida) and DRAMs (Micron). OK, and HP’s inkjet. Sort of. And they enforce non-competes. Yep, it’s a veritable hotbed of innovation and entrepreneurship.
