Sir, I love this post - we all need to be happy with what we have and who we are before we have the ability to progress. The continual barrage of external motivational comments and envy created by the often false positivity of others can create very depressing personal thoughts when we wonder what is wrong with us!

As you said, there is nothing wrong with feeling miserable sometimes as long as we focus on pulling ourselves out, not feeding that miserableness by comparing it to the external (and often fake) positivity conveyed by others.
