“You may delay, but time will not.”

Benjamin Franklin

Good morning peeps, meditation done. Quote for the day:

“You may delay, but time will not.”

Benjamin Franklin

Can you believe it’s the last Saturday of November, next week it’s December and in just over a month the year will be over. What the hell has happaned, where has 2015 gone?

I was talking to Esther Kufrin the founder and owner of BARREtoned and we were talking about my teacher training and I was saying that my plan had always been to have completed it by the end of the year. But she said,

“Even if you dedicated every waking minute from this week on until Christmas you would not be able to finish before Christmas. Because the group of senior teachers is thinning out the closer we get to Christmas and because we have less classes the closer we get to Christmas.”

She was right, I have run out of time, I will have to get as far as I can with my training before the Christmas break and then resume in the New Year.

I then went back and looked at all the goals I set for myself at the beginning of the year for 2015 and saw it was pretty much the same for the majority of my goals, I was a long way down the line with them all, but I was not going to complete them by the end of the year, I was going to have to resume with them in the New Year.

Time stands still for no man, no one is so powerful that they can stop the march of time. The notion of ‘tide’ as a symbol of time being beyond man’s control brings up images of the King Canute story. He demonstrated to his courtiers the limits of a king’s power by failing to make the sea obey his command.

Nothing has changed today, in fact it has probably got worse, we have far more distractions, which place pressure on our time and takes us away from the things we need to do to take us nearer our goals and fulfilling our dreams.

My mission now as I approach the last month of 2015 is to make sure I maximise the use of my time, I do not want to waste a minute, to make sure that nothing gets in the way and delays everything I want to do, before now and the end of the year, thus ensuring I am fully set up and prepared to smash 2016 and fulfil my life long goals.

You need to do the same, there is no time to waste, start today, right now.

Have a superb Saturday peeps and a wondeeful weekend.
