Cleanse Me Lord
If we want God’s presence and His Favor it is time we become more serious about God and His work.
You see, Jesus came preaching Repent for the Kingdom of God has come. Many Ministers do not mention Repentance in their sermons because as some have confessed they do not want to offend anyone.
The truth is, we can not be saved unless we confess we are sinners and give our lives to Jesus and accept Him as our Savior and our Lord. We will never see the Kingdom of God if we do not repent of our sins .
Psalm 51:1–2
Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.
If we truly desire God’s presence and the answer to our prayers we must allow God to cleanse us of all our sins. We must come to the Lord with all our heart, put away every excuse and every reason we have sinned and ask Jesus to have Mercy on us because we have sinned against Him.
Psalm 51:10–12
Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.
If you have lost your zeal for the Lord and you have lost your desire for His presence, you need to repent of being lukewarm. We can not serve God if we refuse to obey His Word He speaks to us.
If we do not realize we need to be forgiven of our sins then we will not be saved. If a person does not see the need to repent then he will not inherit God’s Kingdom. You see, to be saved we must realize we are lost and we need Jesus more than anything or anyone.
Psalm 51:10
Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Father please forgive us of all our sins, cleanse us and make us whole.
