God Will Protect His People
We as Christians do have a real enemy who is determined to bring us down. Satan does not wear a red suit, horns growing out of his head, and a pitch fork in his hand. He is very subtle and crafty.
One trick he will use against us is speaking lies that he does not exist. Another lie is, he has no power. The truth is Satan is real and he does have power. He is missing something very important, he has no authority. Satan must steal authority from us so he can use his power against us.
1 Peter 5:8
Be alert, be on the watch! Your enemy, the Devil, roams round like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.
We are not to fear Satan and his demons, we are to be alert because he will take every advantage he possibly can against us. You see, this is why it is so important to be in contact with those who God has placed in your life. It is very wise for Christians to never take for granted others God has placed in your life.
We as Christians have been given power and authority by God. Power without authority does not produce much. Eve was in the Garden of Eden. God always came to enjoy fellowship with Adam and Eve.
Satan appeared to Eve in the form of a serpent. Eve listened to the serpent and ate from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Eve told Adam what she did and he ate.
Their eyes were opened and they hid from God. Adam gave his Authority away. Satan used the power of persuasion against Eve.
He uses the power of persuasion against us with the intent to get our God given Authority. I have. listened to many people say they did not know they were marrying the type of person he or she really was. You may feel something wrong but brush that little something aside only later to learn the Holy Spirit was saying no while all the time we pushed ahead forcefully.
Let us remember to always listen to our spirit. Satan is after your authority. If you have given Satan your authority in areas in your life, you can repent to the Lord and then follow the directions of the Holy Spirit to walk out of your bondage. Jesus loves us and does not desire any of us remain in bondage in any area of our lives.
Father thank You even though we made mistakes we thank You for bringing us back to You.
In Jesus Name
