On Becoming Anti-Bernie
Robin Alperstein

I do currently plan to vote for Bernie, but will do what I can to objectively re-read your article.

I noticed that paragraphs 5, 9, and 10 talk about how he is too impractical to “get things done” in Congress — stating essentially that he is an ideologue who will not compromise. Two paragraphs later (Paragraph 12) then discusses how he voted for a bill that was a compromise with the GOP needed to “get anything done”. That struck me as a glaring problem with your logic. I also don’t agree with your conclusions that he is lazy or sexist.

If you do go back and edit this, I ask that you first please honestly rethink if a person who has been in congress for decades fighting for progressive ideals (in an often right-leaning congress) is as unaware of the realities of politics that you imply.
