Does the English language get a look in here? It is mischievous to say that “the White House was built by slaves” since it is not true that the White House was only built by slaves. It is just as true to say “the White House was built by immigrants”. This “politifactcheck” is just ridiculous if two ‘true” statements contradict one another.

Had the statement been, “slaves were among those who built the White House”, or “the White House was built by slaves among others” or similar, there would be no problem. But there is a very big problem to say “the White House was built by slaves”. It is one thing for a politician to say it, but another for a ‘fact checker to confrim it since it is obviously dishonest. Shame on you.
