I am both moved and disappointed by your article. I clearly understand your impassioned response to what many perceive as violence to black males. Yet upon even a cursory review, the violence is never ever directed to law abiding blacks. Further each day day hundrds if not thousands of non-law abiding individuals are arrested without incident. Mile brown was a thug who was attempting to take a cops gun; no more and no less. Are there corrupt cops, racist cops, or cops caught up in power trips? Are their scared cops or cops who can shoot well at all? Of course. But but the sheer numbers and facts tell the real truth. Follow the laws of the land. Treat law enforcement as your partner in keeping order and they (law enforcement) will rarely, if ever, play a significant part in your daily existence.

I respect your opinion, yet your tears and passion are in vein. No one is targeting your children. Black males who abide by the law — abide by the law can go thru life unscathed by law enforcement — no different from other Americans.
