This morning I watched Al Roker live stream from the set of the Today Show (@TODAYshow) with @tamronhall and @WillieGeist.

During the commercial break Tamron Hall said that she had decided not to say something on air, but it had already gone out on the Meerkat live stream.

That left Al Roker in the awkward position of havig to explain that he was just live streaming, but not saving anything. Oops.

As viewers, we love seeing how TV is made, but the anchors aren’t used to having their commercial breaks broadcast. They are going to have to get used to a new normal.

We’re breaking the fourth wall, and it’s going to be fun for everyone.

Based on the comments I saw this morning, from those watching, Al Roker is going to do a lot more Merrkasting.
