Steve Lyons and the #2017FlipChallenge

As you guys may know, I love the “process” of making money. When I started writing code in college, the process I went through from building an app to then selling the app meant the world to me.

Now as I’m growing my new software company, I often times turn to my digital mentor, Gary Vaynerchuk, who announced on his youtube channel last month, the #2017FlipChallenge.

Essentially the challenge is:

  1. Find and sell items in your home that you do not use anymore and have no sentimental value to you (i.e. books, magazines, old toys, etc.)
  2. If you do not have any of these items go to garage sales or flea markets on the weekends and buy these type of items to flip online.
  3. If you cannot do the aforementioned buy items online (ebay, craigslist, amazon) and flip them across other platforms .
  4. Use the Amazon, Ebay, and Craigslist app to make it easier for yourself.
  5. Be honest, do not funnel money into your page or have someone else buy your items for you.

In the words of the wise Barney Stinson, “CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!”

As I write this post, I’m taking in inventory of items to sell.

I already have a few leads on old school gaming consoles that I can flip. I will keep you posted on my progress.
