BEZANT 1ST COMMUNITY DROP CAMPAIGN
As you may or may not know, I‘m quite interested in discovering new trends — especially in the area of cryptocurrencies. While it is pretty difficult to keep up with all the new projects that are emerging, it is even more difficult to uncover the hidden gems in the market. Due to the fact that investors are usually very well-informed about recent market developments, it’s very unlikely to come across one of those gems very often. But when I do find such an interesting project, all the effort of trying to find the few exceptions becomes worthwhile.
BEZANT is in my opinion a pretty interesting project that has recently announced a collaboration with the IT tech giant IBM and has become a number of the Hyperledger as well as the Linux foundation.
Bezant is building a fully decentralized payment platform that allows third parties to create and use robust applications. This may sound a little technical but what the team seeks to accomplish is to become a platform such as Google play or iTunes upon which e-commerce merchants and developers can build their applications upon and sell their goods.
The exciting part about all of this is that Bezant seeks to tackle the issue of high e-commerce fees. On the established platforms, merchants have to pay a significant amount of fees from each sale. In short, setting on these platforms costs these merchants a significant percentage of their margin. For this reason, merchants only used that forms because they have a high influx of users.
With Bezant these merchants would have the opportunity of establishing their e-commerce businesses on a platform that charges a minimal amount of fees. In doing so, these business owners will be able to increase their profit margins, which could in turn invite even more attractive merchants to the platform.
Another positive side effect of Bezant is that merchants will be able to accept payments from local currencies. This would dramatically reduce entry obstacles for customers that wish to buy a product from a different country without intending to exchange their local currency to the domestic currency of the country the merchant is located in.
In August, Bezant has announced a community drop campaign which will last until September 7. Interested participants can start contributing on the following website: https://www.bezantdrop.com/
Bezant offers a total of 1 million BZNT tokens for the community. Participants can earn these tokens for completing social tasks, such as writing a tweet or retweeting an official tweet. Additionally, the 500 most active participants will share with each other another drop pool of 100,000 tokens.
To top it all off, all participants enter a lottery. At the end of the campaign one lucky individual will win the grand prize of a total of 150,000 tokens.
