The reason for these clubs was to decide on a certain set of guidelines and rules for how society should function. The fate of someone who broke the rules was also included in these.”
So, these people banded together, put in place a governing structure, and agreed on a code of laws they would all abide by. How is that different from the things you’re arguing against in this piece?
