I don’t think this sort of thing happens always and everywhere, as you suggest. I suspect it has a lot to do with your neighborhood, or maybe it’s something about your manner. Try putting on normal working clothes and sitting in a Starbucks near a big bank office building. Do you still get rude, persistent people asking you on a date?
