But they don’t; they ask BFS and DFS. Every company, all over the place. I got asked about a Fib heap once, which I thought was way out of the bounds of normal interview questions, but that’s as hard as I’ve ever seen. It’s almost always something to do with arrays, something to do with hashmaps, and some search algorithm. Maybe sort if they’re really in the mood.
