There is a nicely made Youtube video that addresses some of your points. I know it’s not the best source but it brings up general points that should definitely be considered. The gist of the video is that the automation that is happening today has no analogies from the past because it is automation that is replacing the human brain. Nothing in history has ever done this, you can’t compare a computer program that can diagnose someones illness better than any doctor to the advent of the tractor. Automation in the past has always been to replace physical labor, every example you gave dealt with physical labor. How do address this drastic change? We know that automation isn’t going to stop, more and more jobs will become obsolete in a very short period of time. The belief that more jobs will just appear because they always have is not a very comforting or convincing argument.
