How to register Link3 Personal
Link3 Alpha 1.0 is finally here!
Link3 is created by the CyberConnect team, an information and links aggregation service built on top of CyberConnect’s decentralized social graph protocol. We could aggregate our social network identity, links, personal profile, education and Web3 profile like wallet address and NFT collection into one single page, so that we could add the Link3 handle to our Twitter profile. There are many web3 projects already using Link3.
We will go through the registration flow in this tutorial.
Login to Link3
Go to https://link3.to, click Connect Wallet to connect with your Web3 wallet.
Currently, it supports MetaMask and WalletConnect
Creating Link3 Profile
After logging in with your wallet, you will see the Profiles page. It’s in plural form, so I guess we can create more than one personal and organisation profile. We are selecting Personal to create our personal Link3 profile.
In the first phase of alpha test, it supports three types of verification, they are:
- Whitelisted wallet address
- Invitation code
- Whitelisted Twitter accounts
I am choosing Twitter verification here.
It shows I am eligible with my Twitter account. Click Create
After created, it will allocate a random name (it is g6v2pYev here), and this name will also be the Link3 handle.
Click Edit to update the basic info:

And update the profile image:

Register Link3 Handle
Next, we are going to register the Link3 Handle, which is https://link3.to/YourHandle. Click the Register Link3 Handle button:
The registration fee depends on the length of characters of the handle:
I am registering stevenlei, click Register Now. As a Link3 NFT will be minted, so we have to confirm this transaction in our wallet.
Enrich the Link3 Profile
We could update our Link3 profile depending our needs.
For example, add some links:
We could also add new sections by clicking ADD A SECTION button:
There is a handy “Preview” button on the right, click it and preview how it looks of your Link3 profile:
Add Link3 to the Twitter profile
We could add the Link3 handle to our Twitter profile by updating the website field. Looks cool!
