Color coding Elements in your Grid Layout for easy identification

Had a bit of a discovery today that I thought I should share with my fellow developing newbs. I’m changing my portfolio over from a simple skeleton design to the Grid System in an attempt to end the issues I’ve had with browser responsiveness. Anyhoo, after dropping all of the Elements into a new grid everything got messed up and I couldn’t figure out what was what. Very annoying to be blind like that. I was looking at this mess and I thought about how you work with objects in Inkscape. Color coding is the only way to deal with objects, sooooo, I changed the background of each grid element to a different color and suddenly I could see what the hell I was doing. I don’t know what the pros do, but this sure did help me.
