I sincerely hope that this is just the beginning of a career in experience design… a career of changing the world through empathy.
I Got Rejected by Apple Music… So I Redesigned It

Jason,

I’ve worked in software product development and design for over 30 years. I’ve never in my life seen something as thoughtful and well-executed as what you’ve done here.

I’ve got a new company that’s gonna change the global landscape of education. I got no money to spend that isn’t already spent but if you ever want a job, get in touch.

Working in ed tech is all about empathy because it’s all about people and most of those people are little kids. Empathy is what has been missing in ed tech all along — which is why ed tech is still a colossal failure, not unlike Apple Music.

You’ve got a unique skill to offer the world and it’s not coding or pushing pixels. Those things will get you a job. Your empathy will lead you to your life’s work.

Kind regards,

Steve Peha
