Adored by her fans all over the world, she is popularly known as ‘la Diosa Del rock’ (goddess of rock) and is in the spotlight yet again. As part of the festivities for the 17th Annual Latin Grammys awards which is held in Las Vegas on Thursday November 17th 2016, the Latin Recording Academy announced Ednita Nazario as part of the ‘honorees’ for the “Award of Musical Excellence”

She is the only Puerto Rican female artist who has achieved success in the rock genre, she is also a bilingual recording artist, song writer, vocalist and actress and one of the most endeared music icons in the Hispanic world. She also resonates greatly with her English audience in the United States, Canada and also gaining the attention of music lovers around the world

Also glaring is the fact that she has sold millions of albums worldwide , amassed countless number one hit records, got several Grammy nominations and Billboard awards to name a few of her illustrious collections. In fact her album Corazon (sweetheart) went platinum in just a week.

Little is there a doubt that she is a household name cherished by millions.
