Humanity’s Cosmic Storehouse

There’s an issue currently facing humanity which is long overdue for addressing. It seems that we’ve been too busy with our daily lives that we’ve overlooked the purpose of our existence. And that is to live life to its fullest.
I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
- John 10:10
We’ve forgotten that we’re here on the Earth to co-create with God.
For we are labourers together with God: ye are God’s husbandry.
- 1 Corinthians 3:9
The ultimate goal of humanity is to build a Heaven on the Earth, using our own God-given powers and expressing them here.
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; … and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
- Revelation 21:1, 4
The kingdom of God is within you.
- Luke 17:21
We’ve been instilled with a portion of God the Father’s Spirit at the time of Creation, which is what grants us life.
And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
- Genesis 2:7
One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
- Ephesians 4:6
Hence humanity has incredible potential to be achieved.
Ye are of God, little children … greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
- 1 John 4:4
Verily, verily I say unto you, he that believeth in me, the works that I do he shall do also; and greater works than these shall he do.
- John 14:12
It appears that we’ve been failing miserably thus far in achieving this goal. Every living thing is interconnected, intertwined in a universal web of being called life. What affects one of us ultimately affects us all.
Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.
- Matthew 25:40
At this very moment there’s a cloud of negativity looming over humanity which is a product of our own devices. It’s similar in nature to Carl Jung’s concept of the collective unconscious. It’s become a storehouse for our collective thoughts, ideas, and beliefs: both good and bad — however, at this time the balance is tipped overwhelmingly in favor of negativity.
This doesn’t need to be the case. We have the power to alter the contents of this storehouse. And this is one of the lessons we must learn here on Schoolhouse Earth. We must learn how to utilize the powers we possess as Children of God. This is our responsibility to correct. We should not pray to God the Father or to our Elder Brother Christ Jesus to “fix” this for us, but rather ask for the strength of body and clarity of mind to aid in resolving the situation ourselves — this is our task to complete in order to graduate from Schoolhouse Earth.
It’s time we realize that thoughts are things. We give rise to them as electrical impulses within the brain which can be registered and recorded on electroencephalograph (EEG) machines. These thoughts, in turn, create a chemical cascade of hormones in our bloodstream which we experience as emotions. The intensity of these emotions then loops back and provides additional energy to the thoughts. Strong emotions thus generate a larger energy signature which intensifies the thoughts accordingly.
Since thoughts are things, they do not simply disappear once we stop thinking of them. One of the laws of physics, the Conservation of Energy, states that energy can neither be created nor destroyed — only transformed. The energy generated by our thoughts radiates out from our brain into the world around us and ultimately becomes a part of the collective storehouse.
This storehouse, predominantly negative right now, hangs over humanity like a dark cloud, influencing us unconsciously by the presence of its contents. These things silently whisper to us, offering their subliminal message to an unsuspecting crowd. While some people are more susceptible to such messages than others, it nevertheless impinges upon us all. And the more negative this storehouse, the more dismal and oppressive its effect, weighing heavily upon the shoulders of humanity.
Conversely, the more positive this storehouse, the more bright and uplifting its effect, carrying humanity upon the shoulders of many. And we, as stockers of this storehouse, have the ability — moreover, the responsibility — to control its contents. With conscious intent we can tip the scale in favor of a predominantly positive storehouse. It’s all a matter of choice.
What I suggest is to take some time each day to focus upon something that infuses you with a positive feeling, and make it your conscious intent that you’re contributing this feeling to the collective storehouse as a gift from the heart. You can think of this as a prayer, a meditation, or simply as a moment of deliberate pause. Just be sure to make your intention known that this time is meant to improve the condition of our storehouse.
You can start with just a few moments — perhaps five minutes or so. However, as you practice this activity you’ll most likely enjoy the feeling that accompanies it so that you might want to set aside a longer period of time. And as this becomes a part of your daily routine, you may find that your attitude during the course of the day will be noticeably improved — you’ll be less influenced by external events and react in a gentler manner. Your heart will be more open, and you’ll start to be more influenced by internal events.
The most powerful positive feeling is love, so spend this time doing something that fills you with joy and optimism. Perhaps it’s listening to a song, or gazing upon a piece of artwork. Perhaps it’s thinking about a certain someone in your life. Or maybe it’s watching an inspirational video or movie. You might find that taking a short walk along a nature trail will achieve this goal. Or try sitting outside in the sun with your eyes closed, feeling the warmth upon your skin. You might be able to just focus on a feeling of joy, or love, or happiness without the influence of any image or action on your part. Each person will have their own triggers to elicit this type of response. Practice and see what works best for you.
It’s important to remember that God’s blessing and God’s Kingdom, or Heaven, are not outside of humanity’s grasp, but are always available to each and every one of us.
Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
- Luke 12:32
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
- Malachi 3:10
In closing:
When a certain number of people come together and they choose at a moment in time to create a precise emotion in their hearts, that emotion literally can intentionally influence the very fields that sustain the life on planet earth.
- Gregg Braden (New York Times best-selling author bridging science and spirituality)
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. *
- Matthew 18:20
What are we talking about in terms of numbers? How many people would it take to create a measurable effect upon the population?
The Los Angeles Times reported an answer to these questions on May 8, 1986. According to chief psychologist David Orme-Johnson Ph.D., chairman of the Maharishi International University at Fairfield, Iowa’s department of psychology, director of its psychology doctoral program and co-director of its neuroscience doctoral program at that time, the number of participants needed “is the square root of one percent of the U.S. population, or about 1,514. To affect the entire world, … 7,000 persons would have to meditate, 7,000 being the square root of 1% of the world’s population.”
That was in 1986. Today’s world population is about 7.5 billion people.
This would suggest the number of participants be about 8,600 in order to measurably impact the entire globe. Less than 10,000 people working in concert with each other could positively influence the whole world! Imagine what more than that could accomplish….
I invite you to be a beacon to light a path for humanity to follow.
No man, when he hath lighted a candle, putteth it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
- Luke 11:33; Matthew 5:15
* Using the formula above in reverse, two or three people could positively influence from 400 to 900 people — that’s up to half a village in 1st century Galilee!
(Galilee: 204 villages with a population estimated at 350,000 — that’s approximately 1,715 people per village.)
Creating a Heaven on the Earth is entirely possible. We have the tools right at our fingertips. Is there a timeframe in sight for achieving this state of existence?
We have enough intelligence, goodwill, generosity and enterprise to turn Earth into a paradise both for ourselves and for the biosphere that gave us birth. We can plausibly accomplish that goal, at least be well on the way, by the end of the century.
- Edward O. Wilson (biologist and naturalist, professor at Harvard, Pulitzer Prize-winning author)
