Follow Nazamil

Core stabilization layer

The rooms ahead are full of enemies, but most of them can be avoided.

From the control room, head south, then enter the room to the southwest to find a Elixir. Go to the next southern path and follow it to the next area. Take the southwest path to find a Elemental Guard.

Return to the previous area and take the northeast path, turning south at the next fork. Overcome enemies to get the Mumbane.

Head to the northeast room at the end of the path, where you’ll find a ramp leading down to the Control Compartment.

Control compartment

In this level, the eastern room, where you are closest, is where you can fight an optional special zeugle, the Keyami Ooze. This enemy only takes 1 point of damage per hit and his attacks can deal enough damage to cause a one-hit KO. Just stay on top of the heals and try not to wipe out your entire team. Once defeated, you will receive a large amount of SP and some herbs.

Cross the hallway to the southwest room for now, where there is a barrier you can knock down. Inside the room there is a Astral Flower.

Finally, head to the middle section and open the shortcut to the upper level in the northern part of the hallway, then head to the door on the other side and prepare for a boss fight.

Defeat Nimus Pandemonium

After the short scene where you meet Nazamil again, you will face the Nimus Pandemonium.

This boss is a Helganquil that has a body type that resembles an arachnid. The vulnerable part of him is his tail, which is located in the middle of his legs, and is the only part that can be reached from the ground besides the hard legs.

In the first phase of the fight, pay attention to his jump attack. Once he jumps and disappears from the screen, he times it to evade a second later to avoid the blow from him. Once he has taken enough damage, the boss will fall, allowing you to reach his crystal head, which is his weak point.

Once your health is below 50%, you will gain more attacks. Be on the lookout for the following:

  • Leg Stomp: The boss will stomp his legs one by one, dealing damage to those below and around him.
  • Claw Blast: The boss will plant its claws into the ground and then release a long-lasting explosion emanating from the claws.

In this phase, the boss also resists being staggered, so you only have his tail to target most of the time. Be aware of healing and resuscitation, if necessary.

After defeating the boss, another cutscene will play. You will then be rewarded with 40,000 EXP. Your work here at the mausoleum is not over yet, as there is one more task to do.

Seal the innermost door of the mausoleum.

Head to the exit to return to the hallway. Another cutscene will play where the room will be sealed. you will also receive The First Seal Trophy for completing this mausoleum.
