Not sure how to do a direct response here, but you’re right: I got confused and misstated my argument, and I apologize for that. What I meant to say was that you were taking Spiva’s comments completely out of context.

He was making a THEORETICAL CONSTRUCTION in order to show that the plaintiffs lacked standing; in other words, even if the DNC was a thoroughly corrupt organization that had decided long before the primaries in a smoky back room that Clinton would get the nominated, and that Sanders would have to destroyed by any means possible, even so, the fact that someone donated to the party would not give that person legal grounds to contest such shenanigans.
