I like the approach. One challenge I can see with using numbers as an input to get a date result, is the cognitive overhead on recalling what number is a specific month in the year, i.e. is June month 6 or 7?
Otherwise, it appears quite simple.
Hi Pavel, I agree this is a fantastic plugin and will save a ton of time. In particular, we will use it to prototype real NDVI data and test some of our hypotheses around using graphs to detect crop issues on your farm.
Therefore, also +1 on Ali Zendaki’s suggestion on binding Json data to the chart, perhaps even the ability…
Thanks for the post, Seyi Fabode!
Re ROI: One of the farmers we’ve worked for saw a yield increase of 7% on his maize, resulting in an 11 fold return on investment.
We made use of Sentinel 2 imagery that informed the 3 drone flights that followed. We used an eBee drone with a Sequioa sensor.
Thanks for putting this together, Richard Yang! You did a great job at answering this very common question.

What if we just call ourselves, “Designer”?
But we can’t do that because our identity and ego is so trapped in all the prefixes.

The other thing I’d like to add is that because the Touch Bar changes based on the app you find yourself in, it becomes close to impossible to memorise it like we memorise the keyboard. This has an obvious impact on cognitive load, attention and…
We don’t yet have any great books on shareable design, although some designers, like Luke Wroblewski, have written a lot of smart articles on mobile design that get at some of these concepts.
If I look at Luke’s posts, it becomes very evident that he is a huge advocate of “obvious always win” design. So I‘m not sure how accurate this statement is…
Thanks for the overview Mariya!
At Afrolabs, we make use of the generator/synthesizer model quite regularly.
We still have solo sessions at times and what we’ve seen is that pair designing is a great method to unblock us when we hit a creative block or get stuck while designing alone. In cases like…
