I saw an advert about grit and they had this slogan that talked to me, not literally though but I resonated with it deep. The slogan was greatness require internal toughness. The advert is being sold by yours truly, Safaricom. The thing about the slogan is that, it is really true. To be great you ought to be really tough, the values that build up greatness are strong. The most important is commitment, you ought to be committed to what you want and take on every challenge like your life depends on it.

Yesterday had started all well and it was all good till failures in the program started to pop from nowhere. I really think when you spend a whole night working on something it really gives you the jedi way of solving problems. I spend most night well trying to make things work. A good thing about Andela’s boot camp is it challenges you makes you think out of the box, plus inside the box. Its a great way of learning about yourself, lets you know when you got time limit how much you can deliver and the quality you delivery. You learn your strengths weaknesses and maybe superpowers. Its great when you realise how effective collaboration is, collaboration being a key value at Andela, plus you know no man is an island.

Today I believe is great being the fourth day and realizing how much I have learned within a span of days, shows am ready to take on other tough challenges.

The experience is awesome and realizing that people helping you is the best way of learning from each other, it begs the question how better is fellowship. Well gotta show some grit to find out.
