The question is, how did you close the zombie startup?

VCs are still there, hoping for a growth, employees are probably happy of having a nice job. Customers are using the product happily.

Shutting all down means restart from scratch with something new and with the high chance of failing even more.

I understand that the zombie status is not good, but what is the solution then?
