That Time My Husband Went to the ER in Ireland and it was Awesome
Stacie Nielsen Bortel

A few years ago I as vacationing in England and had the misfortune to suffer a fall. On arrival at emergency I was asked for my name and address. I explained that I was a Canadian on Vacation. The receptionist said “ Do you have your Canadian Health card”. She simply swiped the card and said “Take a seat your name will be called as soon as someone is available”. This was followed by Xrays, and a cast on my arm, the same again a week later and advice to see my own Doctor as soon as I got home. Problem solved.
