I had the same reaction to this article. The restaurant community friends that I have (very few) shared this article with quotes like “so brave of him to do this interview”, etc… and all I could think when I started reading this is, why is this a redemption piece from a restaurant writer?! I was infuriated. This is a huge problem of how we discuss and understand domestic abuse and this letter was succinct and I hope gets shared with thousands more, thank you.
