I assume the client felt that her head would be on the chopping block if the campaign bombed, so why assume she was biased? She could also have been unbiased, but captive to the bias that exists in society, that she has to take into account. I don’t see how anyone can make a career in advertising without being somewhat of a prostitute to cultural assumptions and prejudices.
