This is a big problem, and I feel like the people who make websites haven’t really grasped what a big problem it is. Performance is critical to the long-term prosperity of the web. There are loads of articles and plenty of conversation about performance, but websites continue to bloat. Developers, designers, strategists all need to do much, much better, or face being sidelined.
