What to Do Now Season 7 of Game of Thrones has Finished

Now that season 7 of Game of Thrones has finished, we have an agonizingly long wait until the final season arrives. There are a few ways that you can get your GoT fix and stay occupied at this time, however, such as rewatching seasons 1 through 7, reading the books or playing the brilliant games.

With season 7 of Game of Thrones now wrapped, obsession for the show is at an all-time high. Although we will not discover the fate of Jon Snow and co for quite some time, that has not stopped people from debating and coming up with all kinds of intriguing theories.

There is a long time to wait until the final season, but fortunately, there are a few great ways to pass the time until then for any die-hard fan. If you are craving more Game of Thrones action, consider any of the following to get your fix:

1.Rewatch Season 1 to 7

You can certainly fit in another viewing of every episode to date before the new season starts. In addition to the thrill of enjoying all the action once again (and seeing all the characters that have been killed off again), you will find that you pick up on new things and see how much they include foreshadowing.

The show is very clever, and you will always get something new when you go to rewatch it. In addition to this, the box set will come with all kinds of special features, interviews, deleted scenes and more.

2. Read the Books

You cannot claim to be a hardcore fan unless you have read the books. Although the books are now behind the TV show, it is fascinating to read George R.R Martin’s original material, and there are a number of intriguing differences to the show. It will also provide you with a greater understanding of the history and certain aspects of the Game of Thrones universe that the show does not go into.

Currently, there are 5 books published, but the penultimate one — titled The Winds of Winter — is supposed to be released sometime in 2017. It means that you have a lot of reading to do which could take you up to the highly anticipated release of season 8.

3. Games

Immerse yourself in the universe with one of the brilliant Game of Thrones games available. There is Game of Thrones version of Monopoly, Risk and Cluedo, as well as their original games to enjoy.

These all see you enter the world of Westeros where you will encounter all of your favorite characters and manage your campaign to take over the Iron Throne. Gather up a few of your fellow Game of Thrones enthusiasts for a fun evening (be sure to supply a Game of Thrones style feast too!
