We are not going to run away (to Bahamas, for example) with all the money (in that case we would not even need KYC). We are going to develop a strong business. That’s why you are reading this article right now.

The tokensale is successfully closed. We want to congratulate our token holders again and announce that we are working on sending your tokens to you. Storiqa focuses on the safety of your contributions and transparency of the process. Therefore, we require everyone to go through the identification procedure (KYC). As you already know, everyone will receive STQs after the KYС.

1. What is KYC? I don’t even know what that means!

“Know Your Customer” (KYC) means the process of the identification of the client. Token holder will be required to provide us with his/her personal data, after that STQs purchased will be sent to the wallet that the user put in his Storiqa account. You can be sure that your personal data will be used only for STQs purchasing confirmation.

2. What should I do to go through KYC procedure?

We are currently working hard to prepare the KYC for our token holders. It’s very important for the KYC to be set correctly. We will announce the starting date, provide everyone with the instructions and assist during the process.

3. Why do you need KYC?

Although the phrase “know your customer” may seem insignificant to a lot of people, it has a very important meaning in the business world. If we want to interact with other partners in the industry, however, we really have no choice. KYC allows companies to protect themselves by ensuring that they are doing business legally and with legitimate entities, and it also protects the individuals who might otherwise be harmed by financial crime.

We have all the information concerning KYC in our F.A.Q., but also we recommend you to pay attention to paragraph 12 Token Sale Policy which you may find at our official website storiqa.com

Regarding SSN please read carefully. An information described in the document is an example, an exact list will be published later.

4. Why do I need KYC? I don’t want to share any personal information!

KYC is a defensive mechanism for both the company and the clients. By sharing this data, all the token holders confirm that they are the true owners of their personal accounts and the wallet, to which we send STQ. It will grant that you are the person that receive your tokens.

Special benefits. STQ holders are not faceless buyers. Each one is the big international community member, which is about to use our special bonuses inside the platform in the future.

5. I’m not against the KYC, but why did not you say it earlier? I didn’t know anything about that!

Besides the fact, that we have the special topic in F.A.Q. section, we recommend to read the part 12 from the Token Sale Policy, which is located on storiqa.com.

Some members of our community think that we have released the file only after the Jan 26th, in fact we have released the policy right from the start of the tokensale. The update was caused by a mistake: we have written KYK instead of KYC. Here is the link to the previous version, which can be found in the google cache. You can see the mistake on the screenshot sent by our users as well.

Summary

KYC is not a thing to be feared of, we need that for the secure development of our business and for the safety of your investments as well. We will publish any important information about KYC later and will help you during the process.
