Storm Warfare Unit Abilities Part 3
Our guide to Unit Abilities continues with the 3rd Episode. If you master these abilities, you’ll go down in the annals of history as one of the Storm Warfare legends.
ANTI-INFANTRY
Units with an “Anti-Infantry ”ability deal additional damage to Infantry units. For example, an attacking Unit Card with the “Anti-Infantry 2” ability deals 2 extra damage to an infantry unit.
FORTRESS
When a unit with the Fortress ability is deployed on the field, it transforms into a fortress that protects the Commander and other friendly units. If a unit with the Fortress ability is present on the field, it must be destroyed before other units.
PIN
When an enemy unit is Pinned, it is unable to attack you in the following round. The pin debuff is removed from the unit after the attack is skipped, and the unit can then resume attacking.
PROTECTED
Units and characters given the Protected ability cannot be harmed under any circumstance. For example, while the 75th Ranger Regiment is on the field, your Commander cannot be harmed in any manner, even through event cards and unit abilities.
RECON
When a unit with the Recon ability attacks an enemy, the owner draws a card and then discards a random card. For example, if an AEC Armoured Car MK I attacks an enemy unit, attacker side draws a card and then discards a random card from his/her hand.
