Additionally, Scott oversaw the Blue Sky Design Studio where Imagineers from multiple disciplines come together to explore and develop new ideas for Disney’s theme parks and resorts worldwide.

Scott has spent most of his career dreaming up new and unique ways to entertain people, ranging from state-of-the-art themed attractions to film, theater and retail. Prior to joining Disney, Scott worked as vice president for the creative division of NBC/Universal’s Theme Park & Resorts, where he led a team that strategized, developed and managed the design, creative development and delivery of entertainment product, theme park attractions, resort hotel destinations and new technologies.

Scott holds a degree in cinema from the University of Southern California.

A recognized leader in the field of innovation management and building creative cultures; Trowbridge sits on the Mayor’s Council on Technology and Innovation (City of Los Angeles); on the Microsoft corporation’s Advisory Panel for Innovation Outreach, as well as the Conference Board’s Council on Innovation.
