Tensions between US and North Korea are growing week by week. Last week, North Korea announced the launch of their ICBM which can reach any corner of the world.

It seems US has retaliated by staging a live-fire drill. Yes, on Saturday, US along with South Korea, displayed force and this act has not gone well with North Korea. It lashed out at Washington and said that it is pushing the Peninsula towards Nuclear war.

May be US was insecure after seeing North Korea’s ICBM, which had a capability of reaching Alaska, due to which, it tried out the fire-drill.

This was in fact a very strong response to North Korea’s launches. As part of this drill, US bombers destroyed the enemy missile batteries and South Korean jets mounted precision strikes against command posts.

Norht Korea’s Rodong newspaper had headlines, “Don’t play with fire on a powder keg.”

According to the reports, “Long-range B-1B Lancer bombers flew close to the border between two Koreas and dropped 900 kg bombs.”

Pyongang said that even if there’s a small error or a misjudgment, it could lead to nuclear war; is World war 3 on its way?
