Oh September Love That Spice
It’s that time of the year again where the basic-ness comes out to haunt us on our day to day trips.
You know exactly what I’m talking about.
Mo-funkin-pumpkin-that’s right, spice latte time.
I’ve really enjoyed Summer this year, it’s been a lot hotter than last year, the bonus was I got to spend some extra hot weeks back home in South Africa.
It was dandy.
Now it’s cooling down, the wind seems to be a lot more aggressive up north in England, yet here it comes. The season to be all dressed up and spicy.
It’s Fall and for a useless bit of information;
Starbucks sold more than 200 million Pumpkin Spice Lattes between its launch
That’s only since 2013 — So it’s a really good selling point and I can totally hear the people cursing me under their breath for actually mentioning it.
The lesson here is, well if you can even call it a lesson, other than a rant.
No matter how young your ideas are, when it comes to writing. You just need that one piece to hit a few people in the feelings and you’re set.
The viral nature of writing when it touches someone or people in general seems to be a spectacle to witness. I don’t want to go cite loads of articles but just jumping on to google and with a quick little search for “Viral articles”
You’ll get a fair share of them to scroll through. Some are click-baity AF.
They are interesting though. Even terribly written viral articles have some sort of content you can twist and make better. There’s a never ending list of goodness.
Unlike me, I’ve waited a few “seasons” to get started, so don’t be a basic-bitch-latte drinker and wait for that damn pumpkin spice latte season, you know there are bucket loads of better “coffees” out there, just go find or create them.
I don’t even know what I’m saying.
That is all.
