🐸 The Loveland Frog: Ohio’s Hoppiest Urban Legend
Buckle up, folks, because today we’re diving into the weird and wacky world of Ohio folklore. Specifically, we’re going to talk about the infamous Loveland Frog.
The Legend of the Loveland Frog
So, what exactly is the Loveland Frog? Well, legend has it that back in 1955, a man was driving near Loveland, Ohio when he saw three frog-like creatures standing upright by the side of the road. According to the story, these frogs were about four feet tall, had leathery skin, and stood on their hind legs like people. Oh, and did I mention they also had glowing eyes?
Naturally, the man was pretty freaked out by this whole situation, so he quickly drove away and reported the sighting to the police. But the story doesn’t end there. Over the years, there have been numerous other sightings of the Loveland Frog, with some people even claiming to have seen it jump into the Little Miami River.
