#1 Story-telling SIGNAGES:

Do you often wish that that selfie-holic tourist didn’t just see the #historic beauties of your place as just another cute photo-op?

If your business is part of the tourism industry, it’s about time you explored the world of Augmented Reality (AR) — enabled signages!

AR signages prompt the user to simply scan the signage with their mobile phones to watch the story of that place come alive. When presented with such easter eggs, the tourist’s experience is enhanced and their #trip becomes more #meaningful and #fun.

Stories are a fantastic way to connect people with a place, monuments, buildings, people, food and festivals.

FlippAR wanted people to engage with a city through its stories. We’ve set up these interactive signages in quite a few spots around #Bengaluru, like Lal Bagh, Cubbon Park, Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium, Indian Music Experience, Bannerghatta Zoo & several other places.

Both tourists and locals visiting these places really enjoy scanning these signages to unlock fascinating stories and bits of history.

During one of our awareness campaigns at Cubbon Park, we got a family 4 — husband, wife & their 2 children to download the FlippAR Go app & scan the signage at the Sri Chamrajendra Wodeyar statue. They were amazed with the experience & the storytelling. The kids were enthralled. They wanted to know where else in Karnataka do we have these signages.

We once saw a policeman at Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens, scan the signage. He had a wide smile on his face & thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

These signages can be custom made to cater to your needs. With AR signages, you could curate a treasure hunt in and around a #museum, have objects come alive in #3D, have videos that connect with your audience in different languages, and even incorporate inclusive content like sign language!
