The B2C model seems to thrive on allowing consumers to cut out the middle man and purchase directly from the source — the same desire for freedom that’s seen a rise in companies with similar models like Netflix, Airbnb, Uber. I wonder what implications this will have on the economy in future when these business models become the norm.
