Yes. Out of the 72,053 employees, he was the one to have the brilliant idea to speak up.

Ensuring equity in our people processes

Our goal is to create an environment in which every Googler can thrive. We check and recheck our people processes (including promotions, compensation, and more) to ensure fairness and equity in all things that impact Googlers. For example, we took action when we saw that women in tech were less likely to self-nominate for promotions. We’ve also long had gender pay equity in our workforce and we recently shared our approach to compensation with the hope that other organizations will adopt similar fair pay practices.

Poor James Damore. I truly feel sorry for him. More than likely he’s going to claim his free speech has been violated.

But it hasn’t.

See, he can speak up as much as he wants to, outside of his work space. California is special like that. The state protects workers, but the young boy made a fatal mistake…

Generally speaking, California’s political workplace retaliation law protects employees’ right to engage in political activity outside of work. So, for example, it would probably not be illegal under Labor Code 1101 and 1102 LC for an employer to restrict the ability of employees to engage in political discussions with clients or customers while at work, or to use the position provided by their job to promote political opinions that the employer does not support.”

Damore’s problem is that he used an internal Google mailing list owned by Google to disseminate his manifesto. People do not have the right to use their employer’s resources to pay for their freedom of speech.

When he became an employee of Google, he had to abide by their employees handbook. He didn’t.

Maybe he should of stayed in his safe space and shut the fuck up.

I guess now they only have 72,052 employees. Bummer. He’s gonna miss that money, I suppose.

A compensation of $3 million per year, or even $500,000 per year, is well above the Silicon Valley average for an engineer. Recruiter Scott Purcell says the software engineers he’s placing typically make a base salary of $165,000. The average base salary for a Google engineer is $128,000.

See how it pays to be right?

Those damn lefties pinko-commie sons a bitches. Damn them to hell.
