Stream 41, a peer-to-peer, video-streaming, platform, is being developed by White Code Labs, a California-based, software development studio, and a team of passionate software developers and blockchain engineers, are actively involved in this project.
We are extremely excited in making Stream 41, a next generation, video-streaming platform, for all content producers.
We realize, and see, that there are several problems within the current content sharing market landscape, and our goal is to solve them.
Following are some of the reasons why we are working on Stream 41.
- Large-consumer preference market.
Current content sharing market landscape supports big celebrities, people with large follower-base, and popular entertainment companies. By developing a video-streaming platform, on the ethereum blockchain, our aim is to create a healthy revenue model for average people, with modest follower-base.
2. Rampant Ad fraud.
Rampant ad fraud exists almost on all video platforms. Various independent reports estimate that ad frauds, earned via use of botnets and click ads is as high as 50%, and costed businesses billions of dollars. Ad fraud is an incredibly hard problem to solve as detection technology attempts to outfox ever evolving fraud technology.
Our approach is to develop a video-streaming platform on top of the distributed ledger technology, and to build a content monetization aspect that will take care of this issue.
