Community podcast studio opens in Portland, Oregon.

Today we announce the opening of STREAM PDX a mobile community podcast studio located in a 1967 Airstream, in Portland Oregon.

We officially open the doors on Thursday, September 8th at the XOXO Festival opening party where we will begin our first community audio project.

How did this come about?

With the opening of the XOXO Outpost came the opportunity to manifest new ways to create and create together. When the space was announced a bunch of us immediately had the idea to create a place to produce audio, a studio that would be both for podcasters and video game makers, for interviewing all the amazing people that will be coming through the space, and for doing local and cross global audio collaborations. Now it’s happening. And we want you to be part of it!

How can you be involved?

If you have programming or project ideas let’s talk. If you are a podcaster and want to reserve time in the studio to make your magic, be in touch. If you want to learn how to do something, I bet we could make that happen. If you want to find people to work with, we can help. If you would like to support our efforts in some way, by all mean give us a ring!

We are in the experimentation mode right now. What we learn over the next while will help us decide the design and needs of a beautiful remodle. So come be part of the experiment!
